The dental care received here (oral surgery) was a very positive experience in a very positive atmosphere. The surgery was expertly performed and the actual surgical time needed was very short. Well worth the drive from Titusville to their office in the Cocoa Village area. Highly recommended. My highest marks to DR. Bird and his experienced team. Thank you :)View On Google
Everyone is so nice and they Dr. Bird did an awesome job with a really difficult removal even though I was pregnant, they made sure I was comfy and even gave me a super soft blanket and I didn't feel a thing the whole procedure. The prices were also very reasonable. I plan on coming here for all of my extractions in the future. Thanks a ton!!View On Google
Our Featured Procedures
Dental implants are considered the best way to replace missing teeth. Our surgeons place these titanium posts in the jawbone where they act as artificial tooth roots. Implants provide superior stability for lifelike restorations such as dentures, crowns, or bridges. Secondly, the implants encourage healthy jawbone growth, preventing the bone deterioration and weakening that can occur where teeth are missing.
Wisdom Teeth Extraction
These "third molars" start to break through our gums when we hit our late teens or early twenties. Unfortunately, these teeth can sometimes grow in crooked or sideways, or even get trapped in your jaw or below the gum. Known as impacted wisdom teeth, this can shift surrounding teeth out of alignment or cause painful infections. Dr. Johnson or Dr. Bird can perform extractions as a preventative measure.
Sometimes a patient who needs dental implants can not receive them because they do not have enough healthy jawbone to support the titanium posts. In this case, our vastly trained oral surgeons can take a section of your remaining healthy jaw tissue and graft it where it is needed to support an implant. After the graft heals, implants can be placed and restorations can be attached to complete your smile.
