Wisdom Teeth - when should they be removed?

Wisdom teeth, also called third molars, are the last permanent teeth to develop. They usually break through the gum tissue in the late teens or twenties and, due to inadequate space, are known for the dental problems they can cause such as: pain, infection, gum disease, crowding, decay, and interference with orthodontics (or braces).

If there is no pain or any known problem now, should the wisdom teeth be removed?
